My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room, although basic and shabby with an awful view of air conditioning units, was surprisingly roomy and comfortable, especially with the much-needed great air conditioning. The location was excellent for getting to the marina or the Malecon, and the staff, despite a few self-important individuals, worked hard and went the extra mile to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Overall, it was a mixed experience with both positives and negatives.
